Milan | NY Times

Good recap of Milan by Alice Rawsthorn in the Times: half-way thru the article…

“But the young Dutch designer Maarten Baas scored the marketing coup of the week with a less extravagant digital venture — an iPhone app based on his Real Time project, in which actors physically indicate the time in hours and minutes. By the end of the fair’s first day, the streets were papered with fly posters advertising “The newest Maarten Baas for only 99 cents.”

Maarten’s Real Time is an ongoing project that caused it’s first sensation a year ago in Milan with the unveiling of the first edition of the Real Time Grandfather clock, now included in three museum collections and the first two editions completely sold out.  Check out our website, here, for more information and images and video of it!
